What We Believe

Reformed Summary

With thankfulness to God we stand in the tradition of the historic sixteenth century Protestant Reformation, which in the providence of God restored the church to her biblical roots and practices. We believe the following Reformation convictions:

  • Sola Scriptura: The Bible is our only measure and ultimate authority in all things pertaining to faith and practice.
  • Solus Christus: We are saved only through the precious blood of Jesus Christ, the only mediator between God and man.
  • Sola Gratia: We are saved by grace alone; we can do nothing to save ourselves.
  • Sola Fide: We receive this salvation by faith alone, which itself is a gift from God.
  • Soli Deo Gloria: Man’s chief end is to glorify God and to enjoy Him forever.

Additionally, together we joyfully confess The Three Forms of Unity, the Apostle's Creed, the Nicene Creed, and the Athanasian Creed.
